Dorothy H. Miller, 87 formerly of New Stanton, died Saturday, May 12, 2018. She was born August 4, 1930 in Greensburg a daughter of the late John E. Herr, Sr and Mary (Denman) Herr. Dorothy was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Catherine Bortz Class of the church.

She was also active in the community holding memberships with the following organizations: Order of the Amaranth, Jeannette Court #25, Order of the Eastern Star, William E. Gelston Chapter #435, White Shrine of Jerusalem-Westmoreland #18, Westmoreland Chapter AARP 4729, and Senior Citizens of New Stanton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clair E. Miller a sister, Mary Taylor and a brother, John E. Herr, Jr She is survived by her son, David J. Miller and his wife Patricia; three grandchildren, Christian Miller, David Miller, Jr and Chelsea Miller; sisters-in-law, Shirley Herr and Mildred Barna and a brother-in-law, Dean Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 3 to 7 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC 524 N. Main Street Greensburg where her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 am with her pastor, Rev. Donna Havrisko officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.

Memorial rituals will begin on Friday evening at 6:30 pm conducted by Order of Amaranth Court #25, followed by Order of Eastern Star Chapter #435 and concluding with White Shrine of Jerusalem #18. To share an online condolence, please visit www.
