Lauren Nicole Swierkosz, 27, of Derry, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018. She was born October 6, 1990 in Greensburg, a daughter of Eugene J., Jr. and Yvonne R. (Holtzer) Swierkosz, of Latrobe. She was a graduate of Westmoreland County Community College with an Associate Degree in Human Services.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Beth Holtzer; and her paternal grandparents, Eugene Swierkosz, Sr. and Brenda Jones. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, David Welsh, of Latrobe, Lucas, Skylar Swierkosz, of Latrobe, and Bailer Swierkosz of Latrobe; her maternal grandfather, Robert Holtzer; her brother, Joseph Michael Swierkosz and companion Cassandra, of Greensburg; her sister, Emily Rae Swierkosz and companion Joshua Dinges, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC.

, 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home with Mr. Daniel R. English officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
