Acuna, Gesele of Chicopee passed away on June 11th. Beloved daughter of Jennifer Perlera and her fiancé Christian Borreo-Colon of Chicopee and Cesar Acuna and his wife Gabriella of Revere. Dear sister of Aliscia, Nicolas, Matthew, and Andres Acuna.

Cherished niece of Evelyn, Yaritza, Jose, Francisco, Marco and Saul Perlera and Ingrid Perlera, Yolanda Martinez, Susan Martinez and Argentina Ochoa. Loving granddaughter of Vilma Perlera- Russell and her husband Jeffrey Russell of Amesbury, Salvador Luis Acuna and Marlene Matus Acuna. Adored great-granddaughter of Lidia Perlera of East Boston and the late Santiago Santos of Santa Ana, El Salvador.

Fond cousin of Edgardo, Alejandra, Brian, Brandon, Joselin, Denisse, Karen, and Johanna Perera, and Joshua and Edgardo. Family and friends will honor Gesele’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga Street East Boston on Friday June 15th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and again Saturday morning at 8:30AM before leaving in procession to Holy Redeemer Church 72 Maverick Street East Boston for a funeral mass celebrating Gesele’s life at 10:00AM.
