Obituary for Gizella “Mickey” Bird Funeral Mass for Gizella L. “Mickey” (nee Micsky) Bird, 92, of Willoughby Hills will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby. Mickey passed away Friday, Apr.

13, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts. She was born Aug. 30, 1925 in Cleveland.

Mickey retired from General Electric Company (Nela Park) as an Executive Administrative Assistant. She had volunteered at Lake West Hospital, Hospice of the Western Reserve, Lake County Council on Aging, Dialysis Center of Mentor and State of Ohio Long Term Care Ombudsman. Mickey was the step mother-in-law of Patricia Bird; and aunt and great aunt of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Everett W. Bird; step son, Roger L. Bird; parents, Joseph and Julia (nee Czako) Micsky; and siblings, Louis J. (Norma) Micsky, Ethel (Albert) Cola and Margaret (William) King. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby (on the grounds of the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home).
