Gladys Mote December 25, 1922 – March 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Gladys M. Mote passed away Friday afternoon at the Ben Hur Home. She was 96. Mrs. Mote worked at Ben Hur and Culver Hospital.

She attended Crawfordsville schools and the Pentecostal church. Born Dec. 25, 1922 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Bill Newlin and Ellen Beckett Newlin.

She was married to Cecil Grayson and he preceded her in death. She married Raymond Mote on May 8, 1982 and he passed away July 15, 1991. Survivors include members of her extended family, friends and people who knew her and loved her.

She was preceded in death by both husbands, all of her brothers and sisters and several step-children. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Wednesday, March 6 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville. Services will begin at 1 PM, led by Bishop Robert Miller.

Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Darlington.
