Glen loved the outdoors and loved to fish, especially fly fishing. On weekends, he would load his young family in the camper and head for the mountains. Later in life, he loved to spend summers on their boat in Flaming Gorge, Wyoming.

The last few years, him and Jayne spent winters in their motor home in Beaver Dam, Arizona. Glen retired in 1995 from South Ogden City as the Public Works Director. He loved and was very proud of his family.
