CROGHAN – Glenn R. Widrick, 77, passed away Wednesday morning, May 2, 2018 under loving care of his family and Lewis County Hospice. A memorial service will be held at Croghan Mennonite Church at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 with Pastors Paul Mast, Bruce Roggie and Ed Steckly, officiating. Calling hours will be held at Croghan Mennonite Church from 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, May 6, 2018.

Burial will be private in the Croghan Mennonite Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Beaver Camp, 8884 Buck Point Rd Lowville, NY 13367 or Croghan Mennonite Church, Attn: Awana Program, P.O. Box 68, Croghan, NY 13327. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Margie; his 3 children and their spouses, Colleen and Gene Sundberg of Beaver Falls, Cheryl and Ed Steckly of Croghan, Cathi and Beryl Roes of Beaver Falls; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Yousey of Lowville; 2 sisters-in-law, Ruth Widrick of Lowville, Frances Widrick of Bangor, PA; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dorrance and Janet Moshier of Fort Meade, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Derwood Widrick, Gerald (Betty) Widrick, Imelda (Ronald) Hills, Maxine (Vernon) Nafziger, and Douglas Widrick; and a brother-in-law, Norman Yousey. Glenn was born on June 21, 1940 in Kirschnerville, NY, a son of the late Leon H. and Katherine D. Lehman Widrick. He attended Beaver Falls School and Henry Hill School at Kirschnerville, and then went back to Beaver Falls School.

He worked in Lewis Schweitzer Sawmill and worked for Climax Manufacturing. He married Anna Margie Moshier on June 25, 1960 at Lowville Mennonite Church with Rev. Lloyd Boshart, officiating.

He worked at Climax for 18 years, and then drove truck for Elmer Moser and Sons for over 25 years. Mr. Widrick was a member of the Croghan Mennonite church, where he held many positions within the church; and was a member of Beaver Camp. He enjoyed camping, traveling, hunting, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and most of all spending time with his family.
