Gloria E. Brown, 76, of Grantville passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home. Born June 12, 1942 in Grantville, she was a daughter of the late Charles A., Sr. and Mildred M. (Paul) Longreen. She was also preceded in death by a sister Lillie Thomas and granddaughter Corrin Townsend.

Retired in 2014 as a clerk from American Airlines with 32 years of service, Gloria was a 1959 graduate of Hershey High School and a member of Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, Grantville Volunteer Fire Company, and East Hanover Township Historical Society. Surviving are her husband of 30 years Keith W. Brown; children Jeffrey W. Roe, husband of Melissa Karchner of Linglestown, Stephanie T., wife of Rick Youtz of Annville, and Scott J., husband of Valerie Roe of Newport, North Carolina; step son Vincent K., husband of Sandy Brown of Wellsville; siblings Paul A., husband of Eileen Longreen, Sandra L. Pankake, Joanne, wife of Barry Maulfair, and Charles A., Jr., husband of Danette Longreen; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday November 3, 2018 at her church, 287 Shells Church Road, Grantville preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM.

Interment in the adjoining Shells Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
