Obituary for Gloria Bernakis Gloria L. (nee Dalessio) Bernakis, born Jan. 20, 1929, in Sagamore, Pa. , passed away Sept.

18, 2018, at Brookdale of Willoughby. Gloria was a retiree of the Fisher Body, Coit Road plant in Cleveland and BJ Wholesale Club in Willoughby. She was also a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby.

Gloria is survived by her two sons, William N. (Donna) of Willoughby and Joseph P. (Vicki) of Eastlake; grandchildren, William Paul of Willoughby and Nicholas J. (Kayla) of Leroy; sisters Joanne (John) Bojac of Mentor-on-the-lake and Rose Zabasnik of Painesville; brothers, Sam Dalessio Jr. of Plumville, Pa. , Frank of Willoughby, and Nick (Jean) of Indiana, Pa. ; and many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Paul E. Bernakis, who passed away in 1997; grandson, Henry Paul; parents, Samuel Sr. and Sarafina Dalessio; sisters Sara Lou Steve, Caroline Trostle, Lena Rocco, Dolores Perry, and infant Annabella, and brothers, Joseph, Thomas, Frank. Family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby.

Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby. Fr.
