Suzanne Marcella Adams (nee Dorod) formerly Sauto, age 75 of Madison, passed away September 16, 2018 due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease. She was surrounded by her loving family. Suzanne was born on December 8, 1942 in Cleveland to the late Wilbur and Mable (Gregory) Dorod.

She moved to Lake County in the 70’s. She was a dental assistant, and longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby, where she was a choir member and was involved in many activities and made great friends. … Read More » She was very talented with her sewing machine, making clothes for her children and grandchildren, and made the best homemade grape jam.

Suzanne is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Steve Adams. She was the beloved mother of Dr. James (Isabel) Sauto, Deborah (Tom) Nadsady, Suzanne (Tony) Strnad, and Margaret (Chris) Nemeth, step mother to Michael (Sheree) Adams, Vicki Zajdowicz Joe (Monica) Adams, and Steve (Lisa) Adams. Suzanne was a devoted grandmother of 26 and great-grandmother of ten.

She was the loving sister of Jill Gaghan, Joel (B) Dorod, and Nancy (Malcolm) Garrett, and many nieces and nephews. Suzanne was the hostess of many memorable Dorod Christmas parties and many other family parties. Church services will be Friday Sept.

21 at 10 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby, 4785 Shankland Rd. , Willoughby, Ohio. Burial will be at Knollwood Cemetery, 1678 SOM Center Rd, Mayfield Heights.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 pm at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. , Willoughby.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated. The family is very grateful for the loving care she received from The Lantern of Madison and Absolute Hospice.
