Obituary for Harold Geisert Harold J. Geisert, 86, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. He was born Oct.

16, 1931, in Sandusky, and had been a longtime time resident of Lake County. Harold was a U.S. Air Force veteran. “Everybody who knew him, loved him”.

Mr. Geisert had worked at St. Clair Savings and Broadview Savings. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy B. (nee Moody) Geisert; loving father of James H. Geisert and Dorothy S. “Dee” (Andrew) Jones; cherished grandfather of Andrew W. Jones IV; and uncle of nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Emil A. and Josephine (nee Hummel) Geisert; and siblings, Dick and Earl Geisert.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a service to be held at 2:30 p.m. To leave condolences for the family, order flowers or light a memorial candle, visit www.
