Obituary for Mr. Grant Weldon Gousby Grant Weldon Gousby, 25, of Asheville passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. He was born August 12, 1992. He is survived by his parents, Susan Hill Gousby and Arthur Eugene Gousby, brothers, Lucas Ledford and Arthur Gousby, III, and sister, Tawanna Lumpkins.

In death he joins his brother, Landon Ledford. An Asheville High graduate who attended AB Tech, Grant had a larger than life personality who attracted many friends and whose interests included fashion, working out, music, and sports. Along with his brothers, he was extremely passionate about the Carolina Panthers.

While he succumbed to his own addiction, he was always committed to supporting others who also suffer. A beloved friend and mentor to so many from North Carolina to Florida, he spread a warmth that was felt by all. He will be remembered for his playful sense of humor, compassion, and his infectious, toothy smile.
