Nathaniel Bennett, 44, of Asheville passed away on July 17, 2018. He was born on December 10, 1973 to Edwin and Judy Bennett. Nate was a gifted artist.

From a very young age, Nate could draw, paint and create beautiful works of art. He became an expert at making car models, which sold to collectors nationwide. Nate attended Asheville High School and was a Christian.

Nate used to love to work in the paint and body shop, Rocket Automotion with his Uncle Ed, who he loved dearly. In addition to his mother, Nate leaves behind his brothers, Ricky (Wendy) Kilby of Asheville; Edwin (Rebecca) Bennett Jr. of Greenwood, SC; and uncle Ed (Vivian) Gibson of Leicester, NC. No services are planned at this time.
