Jay “Scott” Pulver, 75, of Burnsville, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Solace Center in Asheville. Scott was born in Ithaca, New York on June 13, 1943 to the late Jay and Beatrice Pulver. Scott served his country proudly in the United States Navy and was self employed and a musician.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Burnsville and enjoyed traveling. He deeply appreciated all forms of music and loved spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Burnadette. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of twenty one years, Bonnie Pulver of Burnsville; a son, Brett Stein of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Joel Pulver and wife Cathe of Burnsville and Mick Pulver and wife Tess of The Villages, Florida; two nieces; and a nephew.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Burnsville. Pastor Steve Elderbrock will officiate. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.
