Wilma Jean Hoglen passed away peacefully on July 24, 2018, at her home in Canton, NC, where she lived with her daughter. Jean spent her working years as a human rerdzt/ manager in retail sales. She most enjoyed working with the public and spent several years at the Biltmore House as a tour guide.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Carl Hoglen and her son, Steven Neil. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Carlene Hoglen of Canton, NC; sister Kathy (Dan) Kascak of Cumming, GA; along with their children, Jonathan, Patrick and Alyssa. The greatest joy of Jean’s life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Andy Hoglen and his children, Isaac, Mason, Emma Kate all of Fines Creek; Amber Jean and her children, Hunter Neil and Pyper of Etowah. NC. Also, Jim Hoglen of Leicester, NC who kept her spirits up with laughter during her long illness.
