Obituary for Mrs. Elizabeth Vrackas Poulos Elizabeth Vrackas Poulos, 84, of Asheville died Sunday, June 10, 2018 surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. A native of Wauchula, Florida, she was daughter of the late Chris and Anna Vrackas. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Helen Katsekis.

Mrs. Poulos was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Phillip Poulos; daughters, Amalia Papakonstantinou and her husband, Jimmy of Asheville, Anna Pappas and her husband, John of Asheville and Dora Katsadouros and her husband Steve of Flat Rock; one sister, Irene Kavouklis and brother-in-law, Michael of Tampa, Florida; eleven grandchildren, Michael Papakonstantinou, Elizabeth Papakonstantinou, Maria Papakonstantinou, Alexis Sanders and her husband, Aaron, George Pappas and his fiancé, JoAnna Liverman, Eleni Pappas, Maria Katsadouros, Vasili Katsadouros and his fiancé, Elizabeth Doragh and Philip Katsadouros and one great granddaughter, Amalia Sanders. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church followed by a Trisagion service at 7:00 PM.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Holy Trinity. Father Michael Diavatis will officiate. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
