Greg was proceeded in death by his grandparents Al & Dorothy Saggese and John A. Reagan, Jr. & Katherine Reagan. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving companion of 20 years Lori Rae Marler and their beloved cat Wednesday, his dear friends Fred Santoro, Tony Machesiani, Ed Henderson and John Sparks.

His stepmother Linda Saggese, his sister Stacey Saggese Landry and husband Brendan, and his brother Dave Saggese and his wife Catherine, and his nephews Elliot, Tyler and niece Esme. Greg was a graduate of Norwell High School and North East Broadcasting School in Boston, MA. During his life he worked as a radio DJ, a producer and sports interviewer for station WATD, hosted the Sports Exchange talk show, and was a sports writer for World of Wrestling Magazine in the 90’s.

Of all his occupations his most beloved memories were from his time as a landscaper with his friends at FA Santoro Landscaping Company. Greg was an intelligent and funny man who had a huge personality that shone as bright at the sun. He was always overly generous with his friends and would have done anything he could possibly do to help and prosper them.

Greg gave all he had and always wished he could do more. Life wasn’t always easy for Greg, but despite that he always encouraged all his friends and anyone he met to never give up, and to keep fighting for their dreams. Greg was very talented and a big sports fan.

He was as good at any host we see on ESPN or the Nightly News, in a perfect world he would have had that sort of spotlight on him. However, those of us that knew him were blessed to have him shine for us, and brighten our lives daily. Greg Saggese will always be our star, our hero and our truest friend.

Services for Greg will be announced.
