Obituary for Guadalupe Estrada Dateline: Garden City Guadalupe Estrada 88, died Sunday June 24, 2018 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born December 19, 1929 in Chihuahua, Mexico the daughter of Pedro Gallegos and Maria Olivas. Guadalupe was born, raised and attended schools in Mexico and had been a resident of Garden City since 2006 .

She was a faithful Catholic and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an excellent cook and loved to spoil her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her passion was tending to her beautiful flowers.

She married Victoriano Estrada 1955 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He died June 21, 2006. Guadalupe was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons- Jesus Manuel Estrada & Erasmo Estrada and siblings- Jesus Maria, Filiberto, Vidal, Pedro, Medardo, Elivra, Luisa & Josefina Gallegos.

Survivors include her children, Lazaro Estrada of Perryton, Texas, Josefina Gomez of Garden City, Kansas, Leticia Ruiz of Dallas, Texas, Carmen Estrada of Garden City, Kansas, Tere Reyes of Garden City, Kansas and Ernestina Estrada of Chihuahua, Mexico, 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and brother Norberto Gallegos. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 25, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 1:00 PM Tuesday June 26, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Charles Seiwert officiating.

Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday June 25, 2018 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City and 9:00 AM to service time at St. Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday June 26, 2018. Memorials are suggested to Guadalupe Estrada Memorial Fund.
