Gus A Beres, 89, of Torrington, CT passed away Thursday, May 10th, at Geer Memorial. He was the husband of the late Dina Montefeltri Beres. Gus was born in Torrington, on June 13, 1928, a son of the late Ruth (Geer) and Gustave Beres.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt. in the Korean War. He was retired as an engineer from Pratt and Whitney Gus is survived by a daughter, Donna Musler, of Torrington, and her sons Thomas and Donald, and a brother Kenneth Beres of Holland MA, several nieces and nephews Graveside Services Hillside Cemetery Torrington, Friday May 18 at 11 AM.
