Bennettsville, SC Mr. Harold “Paba” Jacobs, 71, passed away peacefully in his home and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Born November 10, 1946 in Clio SC, he was a son of the late Burnell and Emily Iola Sampson Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs had a long-standing career in law enforcement.

He retired after 33 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Bennettsville First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, working on lawnmowers and spending time with his close friends Rolland Stuckey & Roy Pruitt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard Jacobs and Burnell “Bobby” Jacobs, Jr.; sisters, Omie Lee Patterson and Lula Mae Herring; granddaughter, Emily Anne Jacobs. Surviving are: his wife Susie Robinson Jacobs; Children: Sandra Jacobs Wise (Frank), of Hendersonville, TN, Harold Jacobs, Jr. (Lynn) of Hartsville, SC, Linda Williams Martin (Leverne) of Bennettsville, SC, Charles Williams (Heather) of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Craig McDonald (Margo), Bennettsville, SC brother, Edgar Jacobs of Bennettsville; sister, Doris Dunn of McColl; grandchildren, Jessica Leigh Martin (Jacob), Kirsten M. Ellison (Billy), Brittany Marie Talbert (Dylan), Forrest Franklyn Wise V, Susan Gracie Martin, Emily Anne Jacobs, Jacob Alexander Wise, Bryan Matthew Jacobs, River Joseph Williams, Preston Hayes Williams and Madison Elizabeth Williams. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2016 at the Bennettsville First Church of the Nazarene, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Bennettsville First Church of the Nazarene. Memorials may be made to Kingdom Life Building Fund, P.O. Box 1374 Bennettsville, SC. 29512.
