Harry “Junior” Parish, 93, of Orleans, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 16, 1925, in Leipsic, Indiana, the son of Alfred “Harry” and May (Hall) Parish. He married Betty (Radcliff) Parish on November 22, 1947 and she survives.

He and his wife was a local business owner for over 15 years. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Orleans United Methodist Church, and a member of the Orleans American Legion Post #69. He is survived by his wife, Betty of Orleans; one son, Bob (Carol) Parish of Colorado; one daughter, Melanie (Charles Edward) Massie of Virginia, five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ellistean Underwood and one brother, Clorin Ellwood Parish. The funeral will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home in Orleans with the Reverend Pat Sinnott officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Orleans, with military rites conducted by the Orleans American Legion Post #69.

Friends are invited to visitation at the funeral home on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Orleans American Legion Post #69 or to the Orleans United Methodist Church.
