Obituary of Harry Proud, Jr. Harry F. Proud, Jr., 72, of Norristown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Manorcare Health Services in King of Prussia, PA. Born in Camden, NJ, on January 5, 1946, Harry was the son of the late Harry F. Proud, Sr., and Dolores (May) Proud. Harry loved to shop and sell at flea markets, fishing, word search puzzles, checkers, and drinking spring water.

He loved spending time with his friends who were all there for him until the end. He will be greatly missed by everybody, but especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He is survived by two daughters, Naomi (Proud) Maddona, Reading, PA; and Noelle Dierolf, and her significant other, Stephen Erb, Boyertown, PA; three grandchildren, Jonathon Dierolf, Alyssa Dierolf, and Courtney Dierolf; one great-granddaughter, Lorelai Eshbach; and two sisters, Debbie Kennedy; and Dolores Majane.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Richard Proud, Catherine Proud, and Edward Proud. A Life Celebration will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 45 North Reading Ave. , Boyertown, PA 19512.

The family has asked that you come with a favorite story or picture to share of Harry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry’s memory to his granddaughter, Courtney Dierolf’s, education fund at Tomkins VIST Bank, 101 E., Philadelphia Ave. , Boyertown, PA 19512.
