Obituary for Hazel DeRue Anderson (Horne) Hazel DeRue Horne Anderson ALBA – Funeral services for Hazel DeRue Horne Anderson, 82, of Mesquite, are scheduled for 12 Noon, Thursday, December 27, 2018, in the chapel, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with George Filpansick officiating. Burial will be in Colony Cemetery, Alba. Mrs. Anderson passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, in Mesquite.

She was born April, 19, 1936, in Alba, to the late Henry Patrick and Essie Ellen McGahee Horne. She married Clyde Anderson on October 8, 1954, in Dallas. She lived most of her life in Houston before retiring to Alba.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister Survivors include her son, Greg and wife Kelly Anderson of Mesquite; four grandsons, Shaun Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Michael Anderson, and Paul Anderson; four great granddaughters; and two great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Anderson; son, Mark Anderson; and brothers, Wyle Horne and Mike Horne. Pallbearers will be Shaun Anderson, Matt Anderson, Michael Anderson, Paul Anderson, Dakota Anderson, and Tyler Anderson.
