Helen Inez Adams April 15, 1926 – October 21, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Helen Inez Adams, 92, of Blanchard, died Sunday, October 21, 2018, in Chickasha. The daughter of Phillip Van Allen and Virginia (Flud) Van Allen, she was born April 15, 1926 in Lenna, Oklahoma. In her spare time, she enjoyed walking, playing wahoo, and cleaning house.

She was a great cook and everyone enjoyed her carrot cake, lemon pie, and homemade biscuits. Inez’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Chris Adams; her daughter, Darlene Robinson; great grandson, Troy James; two sisters, Corrine Williams and Pearlie Hoover; and one brother, Roy Van Allen.

Inez is survived by one son, Archie James and his wife, Carol, of Blanchard; son-in-law, Mike Robinson, of Blanchard; four grandchildren, Kevin James and his wife, Tracy, of Blanchard, Tony James and his wife, Robyn, of Blanchard, Kristie McKinney and her husband, Dean, of Noble, and Crystal Palmer and her husband, Kody, of Blanchard; six great grandchildren, Kallie James, Alyssa James, Kelsey James, Tori James, Taylor McKinney, and Colton McKinney; one sister, Mary Jo Gass of Eufaula; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
