Henry E. Packer, 80, 205 Rose St. Lock Haven, died June 11, 2018 at the Haven Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center, Lock Haven, PA. Born July 9, 1937 in Lock Haven he was the son of the late Ira E. and Mahelda Holt Packer. On September 15, 1962 in Flemington he married Norma E. Hill who survives.

Henry was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and football but was especially happy when he was helping others. Henry was a 1956 Graduate of the Bald Eagle- Nittany High School and had been an active member of the Hillview Wesleyan Church.

He retired in 1998 from Penn College, where he had worked in the General Services Department. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Genna (Steve) King, Jefferson, NC 1 Son Henry E. (Rhonda) Packer, Jr., Loganton, PA 1 Brother: Edward Packer, Mill Hall, PA 6 Sisters: Lois McKivison, Carrie Packer, Elsie McClintick, and Esther (Donald) Rauch all of Mill Hall, Doris Packer, Lock Haven, PA and Grace (Leon) Bidwell, New York 3 Grandchildren: Mackeson I. Packer, Tiffany D. (Robert) Elliott and Bryana R. (Joseph) Augustine 3 Great-Grandchildren: Megan G. and Rebekah J. Elliiott and Hannah F. Augustine *** Preceded in death by 1 Sister: Phyllis Lynn A Memorial Service honoring the life of Henry E. Packer will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 Fourth St., Flemington, PA with Rev. Donald Grant, Rev.

Alan Eckenrode and Rev. Kenneth Lynn officiating. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Foundation or the Clinton Co. Dept. of Veterans Affairs through the funeral home.
