Obituary for Henry Preston III Henry Preston III, 83, of Richlands, VA died Friday June 1, 2018 after a long illness. Henry was born March 2, 1935 in Tazewell, Virginia. Henry was the son of the late Samuel Henry Preston, Jr. and Jane Harman Preston of Tazewell.

Henry graduated from The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee and attended Washington and Lee University. Henry was a Veteran and served in the United States Air Force. He was a Commercially Rated FAA Certified Pilot.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Ann Preston Vick and Jane “Jinnie” Preston Roper, his son John Soule Preston and his wife Linda Soule Preston. Henry is survived by his sister, Mary Jo Preston Bruce of Princeton, West Virginia and several nephews and nieces. The body will be cremated and a service will be scheduled at a later date in Tazewell.
