Obituary of Henry Roeber, Jr Mr. Henry H. Roeber, Jr. of Greenville Township, NY died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at his daughter’s home in Hicksville, Long Island, NY. He was 91.

He was born December 22, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Henry H. Roeber and the late Emma Koch Roeber. Henry married Jane T. Lisle on April 15, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY and they were married for 64 years prior to her death on February 18, 2016. He worked as a Supervisor of Construction for Local 638 Steam Fitters Union, New York, NY.

Henry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a past member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Hudson, NY and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Middletown. He was also a member of the Hudson Fish and Game Club.

A family statement read: Henry was a wonderful man, that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, grandfather, great Papa and uncle. A man as humble and loving as Henry will always be remembered by those of us who knew and loved him.

Although we will miss him greatly, his smile, his legacy, his love, we take consolation in the good feelings of our memories. He will live on in his family. Henry will be lovingly remembered by his children Paul Roeber and his wife MaryEllen of Greenville Township, NY and Andrew Roeber and his wife Jeanette of Greenville Township, NY and Joyce Regan and her husband John of Hicksville, NY His Sister: Joan McKay of Tennents Harbor, ME and Sister-in-law: Kathy Roeber of Tennents Harbor, ME Henry will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Lauren Keppler and her husband Matt of Westtown, NY; Kyle Roeber and his wife Andin of Binghamton, NY; Kaitlyn Elezovic and her husband Rocky of Monroe, NY and Garret Roeber of Greenville Township, NY.

Henry was proud and loved being a great papa to Mason and Greyson Keppler and Vivian Roeber. Also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Joan McKay, his brother: Richard Roeber, his sister: Eleanor Fritchler and his brothers-in-law: Bob Fritchler & Edward McKay Visitation will be at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 391 Mt.

Hope Road, Middletown, NY 10940 on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm at the church. Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA and a burial of cremains at a later date in the Pine Lawn Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
