Herbert C Hoover, 87, of Anderson, passed away on February 28, 2019 at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born on October 26, 1931 in Wilder, Tennessee. Herbert graduated from Anderson High School in 1952 and was a retired Pinkerton Security Officer, working for several organizations.

Herbert is survived by his children, Lauragayle (Chuck), Sharon; daughters-in-law, Carolyn and Karen; Grandkids: Jonathon (Shawna), Darrin (Krista), Mackenzie (Michael), Scott (Jackie), Jennifer, Jeff (Jennifer), Leann, Scott, Beth, Sarah (Eric), Steven (Brenda), Tim (Elizabeth), David (Olivia), Penny (Karl), Betsy (Cliff); Great-grandkids: Lexi, Lyla, Brenden, Ashton, Aiden, Merritt, Honour, Caselynn, Lauren, Cole, Austin, Michael, Abigail, Joshua, Rylee, Jacob, Josie, Dusty and many many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives Judy and Barbara; sons Larry and Michael; parents John and Kelly; sisters Rose, Ruby, Ella Dee, Lyda, Lily, Blanche and Lena; best friend Jim Alexander and grandkids Terry and Charity. Visitation will be held Monday, March 4, 2019, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019, 10:00 am at the funeral home with Walt Weaver officiating and one hour of visitation prior. Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson followed by a luncheon at the Community Room at Loose Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Church, Pendleton Campus, in which he was a member, for Missions and/or Children’s Ministries.
