James E. Alexander, 88, of Anderson, passed away on February 28, 2019 at the Sugar Fork Crossing. He was born on February 8, 1931 in Anderson, Indiana. James graduated from GMI.

He served his country in the US Army. He retired as a Steel Buyer for Delco Remy, Plant 1 after many years of service. He attended Noble Street United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church.

He was a member Moriah Masonic Lodge and Madison County Shrine Club. He worked with the SCORE Group, and belonged to several old car clubs. James is survived by his daughter, Jan Webb; grandchildren, Adam (Dawn) Webb, Alex (Kelley) Webb, Molly Webb; great-grandchildren, Myla, Henry, Piper, Sean and Brendan; cousins, Tom (Carol) Alexander and Nancy Alexander; niece, Julie Neuman; nephews, John Reddington and Thom Reddington.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Joanna “Jo” R. Alexander on January 5, 2019, parents: Grace and Harry Alexander; sister, Mary Ann Neuman. Visitation will be held Monday, March 4, 2019, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street Anderson, IN. A Masonic Lodge service will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral ceremony at the funeral home with Rev.

Don Deena Johnson officiating. Entombment will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt.

Moriah Masonic Lodge or charity of donor’s choice. www. loosecares.com.
