Lois Marie (Butts) Stewart, 64, of Anderson, passed away on May 14, 2019 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on September 28, 1954 in West Plains, Missouri to the late Donald and Evelyn Butts. Lois served in the US Army and retired in 1983 after serving in Augsburg, Germany and at the Pentagon.

She worked for TACOM after retiring from the Army for several years. Lois was a proud Veteran and supported many Veteran organizations including, Disabled American Veterans, US Army Specialist Veterans, and Indy/ASAers. She was a loving mother, and grandmother.

Lois is survived by her sons, Joe (Jennifer) Stewart of Anderson, IN, Josh (Michelle) Stewart of Muncie, IN grandchildren, Dylan, Oliviah, Jaric, Lucas, Bret, Keagan, and Eli, brothers, Donald Butts, and Chuck (Angela) Butts, sister-in-law, Taufua Butts, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Monday, May 20, 2019, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will be Monday, May 20, 2019, 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Charity. www.
