Kenneth Wayne Burgess, Sr. 73, of Noblesville, passed away May 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born on April 3, 1946 in Akron, Ohio. Kenneth served his country in the Army from 1964-1967 stationed in Germany.

He retired from Firestone in Noblesville after 35 1/2 years of service as a air ride maker and time study engineer. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He and his family owned a Concession stand for 21 years and was treasurer for the Union for 13 years.

Kenneth is survived by his loving spouse of 51 years, Marlene (Moyer) Burgess, children, Karmissa Foreman and Kenneth Wayne (Lai) Burgess, Jr.; grandchildren, Kristina Cornett, Meagan Foreman, Hayley Burgess, Courtney Burgess, Mark Burgess; great-grandchildren, Aleena, Ta’Nyla, Max, Trinity, Harper; siblings, Madonna (Terry) Palmer, Debbie (Craig) Cowie, Karen (Dale) Spriggel, sisters-in-law, Judy (Ronnie) Musick, Dee (Gerald) Carrigg and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Dillard Brown; mother, Margaret Owens and step-father who raised him, Bill Stephenson. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 11:00am – 1:00pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will be Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park with military rites. www.
