Obituary for Herbert Lee Jestice Herbert Lee Jestice, 75, of Muskogee, was born July 29, 1942 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Clabern and Anna Lee (Weaver) Jestice and passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Muskogee. He grew up in Sand Springs and graduated from Charles Page High School. He spent many summers in Porum with his grandparents.

His passion was working on old cars. In 1961 Herbert joined the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in October 1962. When Herbert was 30 years old he returned to college in San Bernardino Valley, California area and made the wrestling team.

He loved hot rods, car shows and was a baseball coach for many years Herbert was a welder by trade and helped build OG&E, Fort Howard in Muskogee and many other manufacturing plants. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Shannon White and husband Ray, Shelly Schell and Vicki Neal; sons, Ray Jestice, Sonny Lee Schell and wife Rae, Joe Schell and wife Betty and Gene Schell; sisters, Pam Hensel and husband Myron and Patti Young; brother, Terry Jestice. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Jerry Young.

A graveside service will be held 10:00AM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with military honors. The family of Herbert Lee Jestice has entrusted his service and burial to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson, OK. 918-478-2555.
