SPIVEY, Hubert “H.C.” Clinton age 92 of Talladega, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Piedmont Healthcare Center. Mr. Spivey served in the United States Army during WWII. He retired from Alabama Power after 41 years of service, and was a member of Stemley Baptist Church where he was a member of the choir.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Spivey; children, Mike Spivey of Piedmont, Sue (Jeff) Rogers of Huntsville, Dan (Sharon) Johnson of Chelsea, Jan (Charlie) Dismukes of Millbrook and Jim (Laura) Johnson of Wetumpka; brothers, Lamar Spivey of Piedmont and Charles Spivey of Collinsville; sister, Sandra Whiteside of Jacksonville; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held for the family at Highland Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers with Bro.

Carl Armstrong officiating. Friends and family will gather on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 12:30 PM at the Piedmont Healthcare Center Activity Center. Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Spivey family.
