Hubert Stern Redd, 78, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 19, 2018. The son of Hubert and Luella (Buggs) Redd, he was born March 30, 1940, In Indiana, PA. Rev.

Redd was a life time resident of Indiana and retired from FMC in Homer City. He served in the Army during the Vietnam era. Rev.

Redd pastored at St. James AME Zion Church of Indiana for 17 years, retiring in 2015. Surviving is his wife Yvonne, whom he wed April 10, 1964; children, Yvette (Redd) Legersky, MI, Melissa Redd, MD, Brandon (Kandace) Redd; two grandsons, Michael and Mateo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins in the Redd (Indiana), Buggs (Greensburg), and Parker (Scranton) families. Preceding Rev.

Redd in death were his grandparents, Edward and Margaret Buggs; parents, Hubert and Luella Redd; a brother, Edward Redd; sister, Helen Robinson; uncles, Edward and Henry Buggs, and an aunt, Helen Buggs. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday morning, 11 am in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev.

Kenneth Copeland, officiating. Military Rites provided by VFW Post 1989. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to either the AME Church, 101 N. 2ND Street, Indiana, Pa.
