Owen James Kubalek, 18 days, of Indiana, passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Owen was the son of John and Annette (Laughlin) Kubalek. He was born June 29, 2018 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

During his short life on earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Surviving are his parents; grandparents, Deborah (Evans) and James W. Laughlin, III, both of Indiana and Nancy (Lowry) Kubalek, Clymer; great-grandparents, Barbara (Anderson) Laughlin, Indiana and Harold Evans, Indiana; aunts, Jacqueline (Kubalek) and Douglas Russell, Indiana, Natalie (Kubalek) and Jason Stearns, Meadville, Laura Laughlin and Thomas Erhardt, Charleroi; uncles, Jeffery and Lisa (Gens) Kubalek, Patton and Evan Laughlin, Indiana; cousins, Chase, Kendall, and Parker Russell, Indiana. Owen was preceded in death by his grandfather, John James Kubalek, Jr. Funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
