Ilene M. Roberts, 75, of Colchester, IL died at 5:20 pm Tuesday June 12, 2018 at Countryview Care Center in Macomb, IL. She was born on January 29, 1943 in Denver, IL to Wayne and Mildred (Clampitt) Williams. She married George Roberts on December 31, 1962 in Augusta, IL.

He survives. Ilene was a graduate of Augusta High School. She was employed as a scheduling coordinator at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was a loving and faithful spouse for 55 years. She also loved spending time with her family and grandkids and used her ceaseless energy to persistently pursue those relationships. Ilene enjoyed serving others and her energy and laugh were contagious to those around her.

She is survived along with her husband George by a daughter, Shelly Russell and her husband, Jim Borgstrom of Osage, IA, a son, Dr. Kevin Roberts and his wife, Heather of Nappanee, IN, 5 grandchildren, Ketra Russell (Joe Roselieb) of Macomb, IL, Kyle Russell (Jill Beatty) of Lubbock, TX, Kurt Russell of Walker, MN, Isaac Roberts and Rachel Roberts of Nappanee, IN. and a sister, Terri (Joe Bence) Smith of Quincy, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday June 16, 2018 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL by Minister Jason Seggelke. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery in Macomb, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL.

Memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice. The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements.
