Susan E. Jackson, 65, of Clayton, died at 3:00 a.m. Sunday, October 28, 2018, at her home. Born December 19, 1952, in Quincy, Susan was a daughter of Roy Wing and Norma Gunther. She married Andrew Lee Jackson September 18, 2004, at the Clayton Ballpark.

He survives. Susan was employed at Denman Linen Services in Quincy until her retirement due to ill health. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors in addition to her husband is a son, Brandon Brown, Clayton; two daughters, Sondra (Jeff) Cooley, Clayton, and Rebecca Davis, Clayton; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Carolyn, Teresa, Cara, Debbie, Lori, and Barb; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jamie. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton.

Following visitation, Susan will be cremated. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 2 at the Howes Cemetery near Clayton by Pastor Larry Flint. Following the service at the cemetery, friends are invited to bring a dish to share at the Clayton Community Building.
