Mrs. Roman was born April 27, 1940 to Guadalupe & Maria De Jesus Peralez in Weslaco, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Maria Del Carmen Moreno, Rafaela Garzez; 1 brother, David Peralez & 1 grandson, Armando Roman.

Mrs. Roman is survived by her husband, Rodolfo Roman of Weslaco, TX; 3 sons, Rodolfo Roman, Jr. (Lori), Jorge Luis Roman (Esther), Jose Luis Roman (Rebecca), all of MI; 4 daughters, Maria Sylvia Cantu (Manuel) of Weslaco, TX, Maria Estela Velasquez (Chris) of San Antonio, TX, Norma Linda Ceniceros (Joe) of Killeen, TX, Maria Dolores Roman of Weslaco, TX; 6 brothers, Isabel Peralez, Manuel Peralez (Yolanda), Rodrigo Peralez (Trini), Ignacio Peralez (Blanca), Danny Peralez (Delia), all of Weslaco, TX, Mario Peralez of Houston, TX & 3 sisters, Viola Zepeda (Jose), Guadalupe Rivera (Eleazar), both of Weslaco, TX & Lesbia Gonzalez of Lewisville, TX. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren & 28 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Martin Roman, Daniel Cantu, Jose Luis Roman, Jr., Jose Angel Roman, Jaime Lee Roman and Jorge Luis Roman, Jr. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave.
