Charging Crow was born on December 9, 1930 in Pine Ridge, SD to Samuel Charging Crow and Elizabeth (Strikes Enemy) Charging Crow and was raised by Samuel and Daisy (Gay) Charging Crow. Isaac made his journey to the Spirit World on January 6, 2019 at the State Veteran’s Home in Hot Springs, SD. Isaac is survived by his children, Margie (Leonard) Charging Crow-Few Tails, Lyle Charging Crow and Everett Charging Crow, all of Kyle, SD, and Randy Charging Crow of Allen, SD; adopted children, Ed Rawlings of Texas and Gina Watson of Florida; siblings, Wilber Witt, Joseph Charging Crow, and Charlotte Rouillard, all of Kyle, SD; special grandchildren, Jessica & Walter Broncheau of Pendleton, OR, Angela & Dustin Twiss of Cuny Table, SD, Lydia & Rob Few Tails-Gull of Pierre, SD, Kateri & Kyle Few Tails-Clifford of Rapid City, SD, Kimberly Few Tails and John Charging Crow, Jr., both of Kyle, SD, and Ariana Charging Crow of Colorado; Desirae Charging Crow, Megan Charging Crow, and Elizabeth Charging Crow; great grandchildren, Jacob, Daisy and Joseph Twiss; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Isaac was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Elizabeth (Strikes Enemy) Charging Crow; step mother, Daisy (Gay) Charging Crow; brothers, Andrew, James, Theodore, Roy, Carl and Robert Taylor Charging Crow; sister, Ruth Charging Crow; wife, Clara Charging Crow; children, John Charging Crow, Sr. and Francine Charging Crow; grandson, Craig Charging Crow; and beloved great grandson, Riley Few Tails. Pallbearers will be: Dustin Twiss, Joey Rosales, Reginald Little Killer, Anthony Gay, Leon Tallman, Joe Chief Bear, Marques Alan Charging Crow of Wyoming, and Briar Eisenbraun. Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with a rosary service starting at 7:00 PM.
