J. Donald Greider, 92, of Mount Joy, passed away peacefully at Mennonite Homes on June 29, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Lois K. Greider. Donald is also survived by two daughters Debra Greider of Mount Joy and Angela Anspach of Mount Joy; by two grandchildren: Cori Becker, wife of Adam Becker of Columbia and Toby Bryson, husband of Dana of Elizabethtown; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Donald worked for most of his life as a farmer in Lancaster County. He also worked as a janitor at Farmdale Elementry and also worked at the Grove Machine Shop. Donald was a lifelong member of The Church of God of Landisville.

After voting in the last election, Donald received a letter honoring his commitment to voting in every election since he was 18. Born in Lancaster, Donald was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Greider. He is preceded in death by his brother William Greider.

A Celebration of Donald’s life will take place at The Church of God of Landisville, 171 Church Street Landisville, PA 17538 on Thursday, July 5 at 11 AM. The family will receive family and friends from 10-11 Am. Interment will be private.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Landisville church of God, 171 Church Street Landisville, PA 17538.
