Obituary for Jack Gordon Jack Gordon, 87, of Columbus went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 4, 2018. Jack was born on September 25, 1930 in Detroit, MI to Orville and Nellie Gordon. He is preceded in death by his parents, all of his seven siblings and their spouses.

Jack is survived by Winnie, his loving wife of 59 years. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. Cameras were Jack’s passion.

A career path in photography began as a studio portrait photographer when he was 14 and ended after 33 years as an industrial photographer with Rockwell International. Jack was an avid craftsman who loved using his scroll saw. Wooden Creations labeled “Made especially for you by Jack Gordon” are enjoyed by many.

Jack will be remembered for his humor, his love of life and his deep and abiding love for his family, his friends and his church. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 10 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Bexley United Methodist Church, 2657 E. Broad Street, Bexley, Ohio 43209. Rev.

Becky Piatt officiating. Interment will follow later that day with a 2:30 pm graveside service at Sunset Cemetery 6959 W. Broad St., Galloway, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bexley United Methodist Church in Jack’s memory.
