Jackie Day (Tom Thumb) Starkey, 58 of Neibert passed away April 11, 2018 following a short illness. Born June 3, 1959 in Mason County, Ky, he was the son of Linda Vance Starkey and the late Lawton Jack Starkey. Jackie was also preceded in death by his brother in law Frank Adkins, paternal grandparents Winfred Sue Starkey and Jack and Alma Gail Starkey, maternal grandparents Basil and Rosella Vance.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Linda Starkey, one brother Carl “Pooch”… Read More » (Patty) Starkey, one sister Sara and the late Frank Adkins, one neice Jacquelyn (Russell) Thompson of SC, nephews Derick (Billy Jean) Branham, Coty Jack Starkey Knight of NC, great nephews Aiden and Kalix Thompson, Bradley Cannon Branham, one great niece Sadie Branham, also he left behind someone very special and dear to his heart with a lot of family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday April 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Lyburn Freewill Baptist Church in Lyburn, with Pastor Jody Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Friends may call on the family on Sunday from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the church. Pallbearers will be Willie Elswick, Josh Rose, Chris Blair, Chase Walls, Jeff Walls, James “Bo” Ryan.
