Jacqueline Louise (Mann) Emmens, 89, passed away January 6, 2019. Born in Springfield, MA, May 2, 1929, daughter of the late Lawrence and Maude (Prince) Mann. Jackie fulfilled her dream of becoming a nurse and earned her nursing degree late in life.

She was employed at Wesson hospital for many years. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, doing crafts, and reading. Jackie was a kind and happy person, always there to brighten the lives of others.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert “Pete” Peterson Jr. in 1983 and her second husband Edgar Emmens in 1988. She leaves her children, Ronald Peterson (Deborah) of NV, Mark Peterson of West Springfield, Deborah (Peterson) Tremblay (Richard) of VT, and Bruce Peterson (Lisa) of Agawam; 10 grandchildren: Lisa, Tracie, Ronnie; Kelly, Emily, Gabrielle, Hannah, Matthias, Christine; Sarah; and 7 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Paucatuck Cemetery.
