Jacques “Jackie” Rodolosi, 72, of Gloucester, passed away on the morning of December 19, 2018 at the Beverly Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Jackie, son of the late Nicola and Philomenia (Forte) Rodolosi, was born in La Goulette, Tunisia on September 16, 1946. The Rodolosi clan moved from North Africa to Gloucester, MA for the then booming fishing industry.

Jackie fished and cooked for the crews aboard the F/V Barbara Jean and the F/V Captain Scrod. His love for cooking led him to work in the Rodolosi Family businesses’, Captain’s Courageous and later the Easterly. Jackie enjoyed playing cards at the St. Peter’s Club and loved all things music, including Bob Dylan, The Allman Brothers, The Killers and The Band and Robbie Robertson.

Jackie had a great love for the beach, trips to Seabrook, NH and Saratoga Springs, NY to watch his horses, catching rays on the bench at the club and hanging out with his buddy/son “Little Jackie”. Family and friends were important to Jackie. He will be greatly missed by his family and his cumpari at the St. Peter’s Club.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Tiffany Moore and her husband Jason, United States Marines Corps. , stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Nellica Rodolosi of New York City; 2 sons, Beau Sullivan and his partner Sebastien Callegari of New York City, Jackie Rodolosi of Gloucester; 3 grandchildren, Micah and Braden Moore and Jamison Rodolosi; his sister, Theresa Manninen of Gloucester; 3 brothers, Daniel Rodolosi and his wife Vincie, Antoine Rodolosi, Vincent Rodolosi and his wife Diane all of Gloucester; many amazing nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Laurent Rodolosi and his wife Catherine and his brother-in-law, Robert Manninen.

Jackie’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann’s Church, Holy Family Parish on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There will be no visiting hours and the burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to www.
