Jacqueline J. Hosmon, 65, of Herrin, passed away July 10, 2018 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Jaki was a homemaker and a mom. Jaki was born November 21, 1952 to Jack Prather and Wilma (Horn) Prather-Ridgway in Laurium-Calumet, Michigan.

She is survived by her children, DeAnn Hosmon of Herrin, Jason & Bobbie Hosmon of Clayton, OH, Sarah Hosmon of Herrin, Amanda & Shane Bennett of Marion; mother, Wilma Ridgway of Herrin; grandchildren, Kaitlin,… Read More » Mikaela, Dylan, Carly, T.J., Ethan, Abbey, and Dakota; great grandson to be born, August; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby & Kathy Prather of Carbondale, IL; step mother, Bernice Prather of Herrin; father of her children, Stacy J. Hosmon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, father, step father, Wallace Ridgway, brother, Michael Prather, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home with Rev.

Don Colson and Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Payshere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674 or Centerstone Marion, 1307 West Main Street, Marion, IL 62959; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
