James Albert Casazza March 16, 1947 – February 15, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card James Albert Casazza “Jim”, 71, passed unexpectedly on February 15, 2019 while on vacation in Florida. Jim was born on March 16, 1947 in Arlington, MA, the second of eight children born to John and Catherine Casazza. He married Pamela Thomas on June 6, 1970 in Clifton Forge, VA.

In 1971 he graduated with honors from the New England College of optometry. Following his graduation he served for three years in the United States Air Force before returning to New England where he settled in Pelham, NH to raise his family, landscape his beautiful yard, and care for patients at his practice on Central Street in Andover, MA. When not enriching others’ lives he was a voracious learner and enjoyed sports such as racquetball & golf well into retirement.

He is remembered with love by his wife Pamela; sons Scott & Doug; daughter-in-law Marilyn; and grandchildren Taylor, Luke & Ryan; sisters and brothers Kathy, Joe, Jack, Jane, Janet, Kenny, & Kevin, their spouses and their loving children and grandchildren. Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, February 21st from 2-4PM and 6-8PM, at CARRIER FUNERAL HOME, 38 Range Road, WINDHAM, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s memory to your local Boys & Girls Club.
