Jim was born on October 29, 1951 in Knoxville, TN to the late George and Betty Ellen Brewer. He is also preceded in death by brothers, Stephen Brewer and Bobbie Brewer. He is survived by his wife, Angela Newell Brewer; daughters, Samantha Brewer and wife, Taylor Puckett, Jamie Brewer and wife, Tiffany Blackwelder; sister, Becky Daniels; brothers, George Brewer, Joe Brewer; and Paw-Paw to Jaxen and Jordynn Blackwelder.
