OBITUARY James Bailey Passed away on November 13, 2018 James Howard “Beetle” Bailey, 60 of Tazewell, TN was born April 27, 1958 and passed away November 13, 2018 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was saved at an early age and was a member of Tazewell Baptist Church.

He was a 1976 graduate of Claiborne County High School. He had been a long haul owner operator truck driver and partner with his father for many years. During the latter years he worked hauling government loads for Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

He had served as a city councilman of Tazewell for four years. The last heroic act he did was to be an organ donor and because of him one person will have the gift of sight and two will have the gift of life. He was preceded in death by his Father- Howard A. Bailey Grandparents- James A. and Etta Bailey; Marion J. and Lennie Ferguson Uncles- James E. and Kenneth Ferguson; Dan Bailey Aunts- Marion and Ruth Ferguson; Berylene Campbell; Ruth Bailey He is survived by his loving mother, Ruby Bailey of Tazewell Sister- Mary Ruth Bailey of Tazewell Aunt- Pauline Ferguson of Knoxville He is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday November 18, 2018 at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, TN from 12 PM to 2 PM, funeral service will follow at 2 PM with the Rev. Parker Epperson officiating. Music will be provided by Leah and Bob Holmes.

Pallbearers will be Ken Ferguson, Mike Higginbotham, Jerry Bailey, Alan Epperson, Tommy Rouse and Ronnie Williams. Interment will be in the Sycamore Campbell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
