James (BJ) Allen Sylacauga, AL – Funeral service for James (BJ) Allen, 56, will be Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Danny Posey officiating. Burial will be in Tallasahatchie Cemetery in Alpine, AL.

Mr. Allen passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Francis Allen; brother, Chris Allen; brother, Tommy Allen; and father-in-law Tom Kennedy. He is survived by his wife, Tami Allen; mother-in-law, Francis P. Kennedy; two daughters, Ashley Allen and Lindsey Allen; three grandsons, Taylor Owings, Brady Owings, and Mason Travis; granddaughter, Emma Travis; numerous adopted children and grandchildren; six sisters, Janice, Kathy, Sharon, Linda, Dolly, and Billie Jean; two brothers, J.R. and Raymond; and 27 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Taylor Owings, Brady Owings, Brian Travis, Mason Travis, Lynn Harris, Cody Johnson, and Joseph Hebson. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.
