Don Culley Hopkins Trussville, AL – Funeral service for Don Culley Hopkins, 57, will be Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., in the Radney-Smith Chapel, with Bro. Joseph Teal officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Mt.

Baptist Cemetery in Clay County, AL. Surrounded by his loved ones, Mr. Hopkins passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Gooden and mother, Wilma Bircheat Hopkins.

Mr. Hopkins was a manager at Chick-Fil-A in Inverness for 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Reeves Hopkins; son, Aaron Michael Hopkins of Trussville; daughter, Elisabeth Hopkins Christenberry of Calera; 3 grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Lynn Hopkins of Birmingham and Byron Jeremiah Hopkins of Birmingham; and sister, Dianne Hurt of Childersburg. Visitation will be Friday, May 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to WinShape Homes.

Please mail checks to WinShape Homes, 5200 Buffington Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30349. Donations are put into the general funds account for the care of the children. Pallbearers will be Christopher Sims, Charles Sims, Wesley Sims, Troy Bailey, Barry Clements, and Joey Hopkins.
